Dana Point Hit and Run Causes Motorcyclist Fatality


blog3This past Sunday, March 13, 2016, a motorcyclist went down after skidding 40 feet trying regain control of his motorcycle to make a U-turn to get onto Pacific Coast Highway was then was ran over by a white Dodge sprinter van that was following right behind him. The Sprinter van fled the seen before emergency help arrived. The van had a black trim and is still trying to be identified.

The Motorcyclist, identified as Joseph Salazar from Mira Loma, was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson when he lost control. His injuries were severe and was rushed to Mission Hospital where he died only 3 hours after the accident occurred.

No other information has been released but these detail. We ask that if you have any information about the White Dodge Sprinter van that you call the Dana Point Police and report that information.

We are always saddened when we hear of there horrific stories and tragic deaths in motorcycles, especially with hit and runs. We pray and hope that these people will turn themselves in and be responsible for their actions.
